Organized Play

First and foremost, we’re excited to announce our first Regional Championship in Europe, located in Stuttgart, Germany from November 6-8, 2026.

Join qualified competitors from around the world for a weekend of high-stakes competition, exclusive prizes, and a chance to secure a place in Riftbound history.

For many players, this will be the culmination of a year spent battling through Regional Qualifiers. The first European Regional Championship will be one of the most important competitive events of the year as we follow the road that leads to Riftbound Worlds.

Who Can Compete?

Players who finished in the Top 64 of a Regional Qualifier earned an invitation to a Regional Championship.

As previously announced, invitations are not locked to a specific region. Qualified players may choose to use their invitation here at the European Regional Championship, or at the North American Regional Championship taking place at Convergence Fest. 

Players who earn invitations through multiple Regional Qualifiers may attend both Regional Championships.

Nov. 6-8, 2026 - European Regional Championship

The first Regional Championship event of the year will be in Europe, and we’re excited for our fans to join us in Stuttgart, Germany! This event is more than just the central tournament. Fans will find many of the amenities they've come to expect from our Regional Qualifier events such as a slate of side events, on-demand events, a prize wall, merch store, a place to watch the Regional Championship stream, and more!

The event will take place in Hall H of Messe Stuttgart, Messepiazza 1, 70629 Stuttgart.

Event Format

The European Regional Championship will be played using the Standard format and will include cards from Riftbound's fifth set, Radiance, releasing October 23, 2026.

Friday, November 6

  • 6 Swiss rounds
  • Players with 12 or more match points advance to Day 2

Saturday, November 7

  • 6 additional Swiss rounds
  • Top 8 advances to single elimination

Sunday, November 8

  • Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals

Prizing

Every qualified competitor will receive an exclusive Regional Championship participation package, including a commemorative playmat and a special promo card.

Players who advance to Day 2 will also receive an exclusive Day 2 promo card.

Competitors who reach the Top 8 will earn an additional exclusive playmat and promo card recognizing their achievement.

And the player who emerges as the event Champion will receive an exclusive playmat and promo. We're still putting the finishing touches on these rewards—stay tuned for the full reveal.

Best-Of Prizing

As we announced for the North American Regional Championship, Best-Of prizing at the European Regional Championship will require that competitors reach at least Day 2. 

For Regional Championships, every legal Legend will be available as a plated Best-Of card featuring Overnumbered artwork. Legends from Proving Grounds will receive brand-new commissioned artwork created specifically for this program.

These cards will also be made available as playable cards in the future, but we aren't ready to reveal how you'll be able to get them just yet.

Prize Pool

In addition to Worlds qualification and exclusive rewards, competitors will battle for a $50,000 prize pool.

Dec. 11-13 - North American Regional Championship Recap

As was shared a few weeks ago, the North American Regional Championship will be held as part of Convergence Fest in Las Vegas, NV, USA. It will run December 11-13.

Chinese Regional Championship

The first Chinese Regional Championship is also right around the corner!

This Regional Championship will replace the Radiance Major. It will consist of the main event, a 256-player invitational Regional Championship, plus an open-registration tournament for more than 1,500 participants. This ensures that every player attending the Regional Championship can find an event that’s right for them.

Details regarding the qualification structure for the 256-player Invitational RC will be released in a future update to our Chinese players. 

On to Riftbound Worlds

The Top 8 finishers at each of the above Regional Championship events will earn invitations to compete at Riftbound's first-ever World Championship.

For every player who makes it to Sunday, every match they play will be one step closer to becoming part of Riftbound history.
