Welcome to Radiance

Radiance is about performing like a master: playing at the absolute peak of your powers, under the brightest lights, with everything on the line.

With a lineup of some of the best bands in the League of Legends universe and a colorful cast of new legends, Radiance is sure to dazzle.

New Set, New Mechanics

Deploy

Play this Gear only to a Battlefield and it will grant benefits while there. When an opponent holds that Battlefield, kill this Gear.

Show Off

Reveal, or “Show Off,” a qualifying card from your hand or on your board to unlock a new effect of the played card.

Disarm

Disarm reduces the Might of an enemy Unit by as you attack!

Disarm is similar to Assault. Each instance of Disarm will make its Might reduction stronger.

New Types of Cards

New Unit Type: Equipment Units

Gear Units were introduced in Vendetta with the Patched Porobot. With Orianna’s Legend effect, equipment can now become Units as well.

Before you get too excited about equipping Units onto one another— when an Equipment becomes a Unit, it’s automatically unequipped.

New Tokens

Bomb

Bombs are small gifts to leave your opponent! The more bombs you play, the bigger the boom. 

Collectibility

Ultimate Rarity:

Radiance brings Riftbound’s second Ultimate Rare.

We learned a lot with the Ultimate Rare introduced in Unleashed. While finding one was very exciting, it wasn’t quite as rare as we wanted it to be. We're trying something new with this card: it's our rarest Ultimate Rare yet, significantly harder to find than the Baron.

Booster Pack Rarity Distribution

Each Riftbound: Radiance booster pack contains:

• 7 Commons
• 3 Uncommons
• 1 Foil slot that can be a Common, Uncommon, Rare or Epic
• 1 Rare or Epic
• 1 slot that can be a Rare, Epic, Alt Art, Special Alt, Overnumber, or Ultimate Rare
• 1 Token, Rune, or Alt Art Rune
• 1 informational insert

Each pack can contain at most one Ultimate Rare card. There is no guaranteed Ultimate Rare in any pack, box, or case. On average across the entire Radiance print run, an Ultimate Rare appears in approximately 0.025% of booster packs. Pack contents are randomized during manufacturing. Any stated appearance rates reflect averages across the print run and are not guarantees of appearance in booster packs or booster displays.

Special Cards

Our Crystal Rose themed Special cards introduced in Vendetta were extremely popular, and we know you’re all wanting more. So I’ll show you what we’ve got in store— once we’re a bit further along in preview season.

As a reminder, Special Alt Art Cards appear at roughly the same frequency as Alt Art cards.

Overnumbers

In Radiance, we have the nine new Legends in the set represented with their Overnumbered variants, which can be found with an artist's signature as well.

Heartsteel Overnumbers

The boys are here with a modern fashion makeover. Collect them all and stun your opponent with your overwhelming aura.

Ultimate Rare

The Radiance Ultimate Rare will be revealed towards the end of spoiler season. Check back on October 5 and this section will be updated after the card is revealed.

Alt Art Runes

This new set has some musically inspired Runes. Check back after our October 5 update for a full view of the new Runes!

Booster Display

With Radiance, Ekko and Seraphine take center stage in this stunning new box art, with Ziggs and Jarvan playing supporting roles.

Showdown Decks

Seraphine’s bright and bubbly performance clashes with Evelynn’s seductive sultry tones.

Vault

The Vault returns, including a storage box, six Radiance booster packs, foil tokens, and a set of 36 Runes.

Pre-Rift Kits

These boxes contain five Radiance boosters and a seeded Pre-Rift pack for each of the nine new Legends in Radiance.
