The final Regional Qualifier of 2026 is in Los Angeles for one massive weekend of Riftbound Organized Play from September 25-27.

Competitors will take over the Los Angeles Convention Center for three days of competition, community, and everything Riftbound. With Regional Championship invitations, $25,000 in prizing, and exclusive Organized Play rewards on the line, RQ Los Angeles represents one of the final opportunities for players to make their mark before Regional Championships begin.

Beyond the Main Event, players and fans can look forward to a packed weekend of side events, vendors, community activities, Prize Wall rewards, and plenty of opportunities to play Riftbound.

Here’s everything you need to know before arriving in Los Angeles!

Addressing Player Concerns

From the start of our Regional Qualifiers, they have been a centerpiece piece of the community. We want to celebrate their success so far, but also acknowledge that that growth has been challenging for everyone involved in making these events happen.

We know the past two Regional Qualifiers have had their share of problems for players attending the show. The teams at Riot and UVS have had constant talks reviewing the events and working to mitigate player concerns for Los Angeles.

We have worked to ensure:

  1. More play space is available for players
  2. Improving logistics for the prize wall and merch stores
  3. Reviewing judge staffing and policies

There is always more work to be done. Some of our solutions for problems players have faced will take longer to implement. We want to make sure players know that we are continuing to work to improve these events, whether they are working to make RQ Los Angeles as awesome as we can, or more long term for events further in Riftbound’s future.

Radiance Developer Panel

Take the Stage

With RQ Los Angeles in Riot’s backyard, we had to bring something special to it. We’re going to be hosting a panel on Friday, at 3pm Pacific. This panel will be the kick off to the Radiance preview season, showing off a bunch of new cards to players.

For players who aren’t in attendance, this panel will be recorded and uploaded to YouTube following its completion.

Get Your Merch Early!

Looking to get a head start on the weekend? The RQ Los Angeles Merch Booth will be located outside the Main Event Hall, giving attendees the opportunity to shop beginning Thursday at 2:00 PM during badge collection.

Grab your badge, check out the available merch, and get geared up before the action begins on Friday.

A valid RQ Los Angeles event badge will be required to make any purchases, so make sure to pick up your badge before visiting the Merch Booth.

What’s on the Line? 

Los Angeles is the final Regional Qualifier of the Vendetta season, and there’s plenty at stake.

In addition to Best-Of rewards highlighting Legends from the three most recent sets, competitors can earn an exclusive suite of Jayce, Brilliant Inventor promotional cards. Each promo features the Vendetta Regional Qualifier treatment, including Vendetta and Regional Qualifier foil stamps celebrating achievements throughout the tournament.

With a $25,000 prize pool, players will battle for cash prizes, Regional Championship invitations, future RQ Competitor Passes, Prize Wall Tickets, exclusive event rewards, and more.

Los Angeles will feature 33 Best-Of Foil Plated Legends from Spiritforged, Unleashed, and Vendetta.

A Best-Of Legend will be awarded to the highest-placing competitor piloting each eligible Legend, recognizing standout performances across the field regardless of overall tournament placement.

Bring your best deck and see if you can leave Los Angeles as the Best-Of for your Legend.

Los Angeles marks the final stop of the Vendetta Regional Qualifier season.

Across the season, thousands of players have sat down across from one another, tested new strategies, discovered new decks, made new friends, and competed for their opportunity to advance along the Riftbound Organized Play path. Now, there’s one more Regional Qualifier trophy to claim.

Whether you’re coming to compete in the Main Event, battle through side events, meet other players, hunt down something special at the Prize Wall, or simply spend the weekend playing Riftbound, we can’t wait to welcome you to Los Angeles.

And while the Regional Qualifier season may be coming to a close, the road ahead is only getting bigger.
