A run down of dates for the community through 2026 and into 2027

As we head into the final stretch of 2026, there's still plenty to look forward to. From Radiance and the final Regional Qualifiers to our first-ever set of Regional Championships, the rest of the year is packed with opportunities to play, compete, and celebrate Riftbound with communities around the world. 

We're also ready to start looking beyond this year. While there are still a few surprises we're keeping under wraps. Today we're sharing our release schedule for the first two sets of 2027, including Legacy, Proving Grounds, 2nd Edition, and The Reckoning, along with some key events and milestones. 

As always, this roadmap is a snapshot of what's ahead. We'll continue updating it as more details are finalized, but for now, here's what the months ahead have in store for The Rift.

August

  • 7-9th - Showdown Series: Ottawa Showdown (Gatineau, Quebec, Canada) - More info
  • 14-17th - T1 Signature Set drawing window is open for registration
  • 15-16th - Showdown Series: Geek Culture (Auckland, New Zealand) - More info
  • 15-16th - Showdown Series: Battle Bear (Speyer, Germany) - More info
  • 15-16th - Showdown Series: Gen.G Esports (Los Angeles, CA, USA) - More info
  • 17th - Vendetta’s first Summoner Skirmish window opens
  • 21-23rd - RQ Barcelona - The top players of Riftbound descend on the beautiful city of Barcelona.
  • 22-23rd - Showdown Series: NRG Events Milwaukee (Milwaukee, WI, USA) - More info

September

  • 4-6th - RQ Singapore - If you’re not attending, bear in mind the timezone difference when it comes to coverage from this event.
  • 4-7th - PAX West 2026
  • 11-13th - Showdown Series: SCG Con Baltimore (Baltimore, MD, USA) - More info
  • 11-13th - Showdown Series: Lucca Comics & Games (Lucca, Italy) - More info
  • 14th - Vendetta’s second Summoner Skirmish window opens
  • 19-20th - Showdown Series: Charlie’s Collectible Show (Houston, TX, USA) - More info
  • 25-27th - RQ Los Angeles - The final Regional Qualifier of 2026, we had to bring it to Riot’s hometown.
  • Radiance Previews Begin - During RQ LA we’ll kick off Radiance previews. The exact timing is still being decided.

October

  • Mid-October - China’s Vendetta Major Tournament
  • 1-4th - Frontline Las Vegas Open (Las Vegas, NV, USA)
  • 3-4th - Showdown Series: Spell Nexus (Murcia, Spain) - More info
  • 8th - Radiance Rules Updates
  • 9-11th - EVO France
  • 9-11th - PAX AUS 2026
  • 16-22nd - Radiance Pre-Rift - The final Pre-Rift of 2026, with Riftbound’s 5th set.
  • 22-25th - Spiel Essen 2026 (Essen, Germany)
  • 22-25th - Paris Games Week - Timed with the French release of Radiance, and French Riftbound reaching release parity with Chinese and English! Demos, Le Rift Tour’s finals, a shop, and a free play area.
  • 23rd - French Vendetta launch
  • 23rd - Radiance launch - English, Chinese, and French! France reaches global parity with Riftbound’s fifth set!
  • 28-Nov 1 - Lucca Fierre (Lucca, Italy)
  • 30-Nov 1 - Showdown Series: CoolStuffCon Orlando (Orlando, FL, USA) - More info

November

  • 6-8th - European Regional Championship (Stuttgart, Germany) - As announced yesterday, Riftbound’s first Regional Championship will be in Europe!
  • 27-29th - Dreamhack Stockholm
  • 28-29th - Toulouse Game Show

December

  • 4-6th - PAX Unplugged
  • 11-13th - Convergence Fest & North American Regional Championship (Las Vegas, NV, USA) - Riftbound + Team Fight Tactics is sure to be a fantastic time. Learn more about Convergence Fest and the North American RC.

2027
